While communication is essential in any relationship, sometimes there is greater depth and meaning to that which is felt, rather than spoken.
I don’t love you as if you were the salt-rose, topaz or arrow of carnations that propagate fire: I love you as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that doesn’t bloom and carries hidden within itself the light of those flowers, and thanks to your love, darkly in my body lives the dense fragrance that rises from the earth.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where, I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I don’t know any other way of loving
but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep it is your eyes that close.
-Pablo Neruda, Sonnet XVII
This week's playlist is a musical interpretation of Unspoken Love. The collaboration features mellow, yet beautifully powerful instrumental tracks. Some of the featured artists include Sigur Ros, Nordic Giants, Gavin Mikhail and Claude Debussy, to name a few. It's the perfect work playlist and sure to get you peacefully through any day of the week. We would love for everyone to listen, subscribe, and share with others. Happy Monday <3
Unfortunately, the song featured below is not available on spotify, so be sure to play the video. It's beautifully captivating orchestration is one of my favorites. For me, it truly encompasses what both hope and love sound like. I would suggest listening with your eyes closed, although it may happen on it's own. It was also the inspiration behind Paradise, another piece I wrote while listening to it on repeat. Enjoy <3
